Important updates in the schedule.
The following is the updated schedule of MLFT club events for April.
Opening Day on the Broadhead Creek
Date: Saturday April 2nd, 2022
Meeting time: We will meet at 7:30 am to decide on which stretch to fish.
Meeting Location: Meet at the park just before the 191 bridge that crosses the stream.
We will meet back at the 191 bridge at 12:30 pm. Please bring your own lunch. The club will not be providing lunch for the Opening day trip.

Learn to Fly Fish Day on the Big Bushkill creek
Resica Falls
Date: Saturday April 9th, 2022
Meeting time. Fly fishing instruction is scheduled to start at 8:30 am. The club will be providing coffee and donuts for both students and club members. Club members are asked to come early, 7:30 am, to help with the set-up for the day's classes. Please try to get to Resica early so that you can help get classes started and to welcome our guests.
Meeting Location: Drive north on Rt. 402 to Resica falls. Turn right into the Boy Scout reservation and down the road to the lodge. There will be signs directing people. The classes are held in the lodge.
Lunch: The club will provide lunch for both club members and class participants.
Need for a head count of club members. We hope everyone in the club is coming, but we know that is not realistic. In order to know how much food to buy for the lunches we should get as accurate a count as possible. Please email Todd at president@mainlineflytyers.net and let him know that you are coming.
Special Request. Club members are asked to come early (7:30 am) to help set for the day's classes.The board would appreciate it if club members volunteer to help out during the day. Help will be needed for the set-up, cooking, casting instruction etc.
Flies needed. Fly tiers, please tie up some flies over the next week and bring them to the LTFFD. These will make nice presents for the students in the class.
"Stick Day" on the Broadhead creek
Date: Saturday April 16th, 2022
Meeting time. 9 am, Saturday April 16th.
Meeting Location: The club will meet at the park just below the Rt. 191 bridge.
Lunch: The club will provide lunch for club members. For lunch we will meet at the park just before the Rt. 191 bridge. Meet there at 12:30.
Bring your bamboo rod and fish in classic style. No bamboo rod? Then bring your favorite rod and enjoy the company of the club.
