Congratulations to the wonderfully talented writers that were selected by our jurors to attend residencies in Good Hart between September 2022 and March 2023!
The first writer to arrive in Good Hart in September will be Carlina Duan. Carlina will collaborate with Harbor Springs Festival of the Book (HSFOTB), and she will participate in events during the upcoming festival September 23-25, 2022. Thank you to HSFOTB for partnering with us to make this opportunity for Good Hart writers-in-residence happen. Alumni writers of our program have commented on how much they have enjoyed the festival, and the opportunity to network with other writers.
We will also connect upcoming writers with other partnering organizations to provide educational events in the community. In the past few months, we have connected residency writers with Char/Em English teachers, HSFOTB, Little Traverse Conservancy, Lakeview High School, and Pellston Middle/High School for a variety of educational and inspirational events. It will be exciting to see how these upcoming writers engage with the community.
As always, thank you for your support of the Good Hart Artist Residency program!
