Releasing a Prototype of an Automated Assistant for Twitter Fact-checking 


A web-based application that could assist in debunking false/re-purposed information present in tweets related to news events has been developed by MediaFutures' WP3 researchers. The preliminary version of the tool is now released, and ready to be tested.

ERC Consolidator Grant for MediaFutures' WP1
co-Leader Hallvard Moe


It is with great pleasure to inform that Hallvard Moe has been awarded the prestigious ERC Consolidator Grant for his research project PREPARE. The grant is considered Europe’s most competitive, with an overall success rate estimated at 12%. Congratulations!

Research paper RedirectedDoors: Redirection While Opening Doors in Virtual Reality by MediaFutures WP4 leader Morten Fjeld, Yukai Hoshikawa, Kazuyuki Fujita, Kazuki Takashima, Yoshifumi Kitamura received Honorable Mention at the IEEE VR 2022 Conference.

The monthly Knowledge Café at MediaFutures is a new forum dedicated to early career researchers. The aim is to get together, talk about research related issues, and foster new collaborations.
