Twin Memorials Conversations

As part of its efforts to honor and memorialize the untold experiences, stories, and contributions of enslaved individuals and their descendants who lived and worked on the university's original campus in Oxford, Georgia, Emory University is creating a plan for twin memorials that articulates and interconnects the shared histories of the Emory and Oxford campuses.

Emory highly values your comments, and is seeking input from students, faculty, staff, and alumni, as well as descendants, neighbors, and local community members.

The next few engagement sessions include:
  • March 16 at 7pm, Cox Hall – Undergrad, grad, and professional students
  • March 17 at 2pm, Woodruff Library – Faculty community
  • March 17 at 8pm, ESC – Campus Services community
