Principal's Message

Lenten Prayer
Lord, May I stand in solidarity today with
all my brothers and sisters around the
world who are suffering. May we be
united in your love, and may I work to
build your kingdom here on earth.”
Amen

Dear Parents,

The Broadening Options and Opportunities for Students Today (BOOST) Scholarship application for the 2022-2023 school year is now available! As we prepare for the 2022-2023 school year, please keep this source of tuition assistance in mind. Thank you for sending your child(ren) to St. Mary Catholic School.

About BOOST: BOOST (Broadening Options and Opportunities for Students Today) is a state program that can help students with tuition assistance to attend Catholic school.
  • BOOST is open to current and new Catholic and other nonpublic school students.
  • Eligibility is solely income-based.
  • If a student is already receiving a BOOST Scholarship, the family must still reapply annually.
  • Families may apply through April 29, 2022.
The application for BOOST (in English and Spanish) can be found here: www.marylandpublicschools.org Thank you for your support of Maryland's nonpublic schools' programs. If you have questions, please contact boost.msde@maryland.gov.

With the changing weather, please keep in mind the fluctuating temperatures during the day.  Morning break could be much cooler than afternoon recess. Consider sending in an extra sweatshirt to be stored in your child’s locker. When temperatures are below 50, students should have a coat or sweatshirt.

Enjoy the long St. Patrick’s Day weekend with no school on Friday March 18th and the Pastor’s Holiday on Monday March 21st.

Many blessings,
Mrs. Hanner
Interim Principal
