Mindfulness is a word that is used quite a lot these days but what does it actually mean? Engaging in mindfulness means having a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment. Mindfulness can help with achieving greater wellbeing and health by allowing us to notice and accept the simple things in life, while putting some of our stressors to the side. Reducing stress is proven to lower your risk of various health conditions, as keeping your mind well helps to keep your liver well.

The prevalence of hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in Australia is nearly 1%.
