Division Meeting: Mental Health Resources and Diversity in the Student Experience
All staff are invited to the division meeting 9-10:30 a.m Friday on Microsoft Teams or at Russell House Theater. April Scott, associate director of mental health initiatives; Kim McMahon, director of Russell House University Union; and Shay Malone, director of multicultural student affairs, will present. Registration is required.

Seeking reviewers/judges and volunteers for Discover UofSC
Discover UofSC takes place on April 22 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center and celebrates Gamecock research, leadership, creativity, and scholarship of all campuses at the biggest showcase event of the year. Sign up to be a reviewer or volunteer by April 1.

International Student Achievement Award nominations open
The award is given each semester to two graduating international students -- one graduate and one undergraduate -- who have demonstrated excellence in academic achievement and shown a commitment to campus and/or community engagement. Faculty, staff, students, and the Columbia community can nominate until March 30.

Katherine Hilson, Undergraduate Admissions, was elected secretary of Staff Senate. Her term will begin July 1 and end June 30, 2023. 

NODA Region VI has named the Outstanding Graduate Student Award in honor of Bethany Naser, New Student Orientation, in recognition of her lasting impact on the association and its members.
