[ID: A graphic with an alligator face on a rock. There is text on the graphic that reads, “Animals, Whaaa?! 2: Alligator penises are ever-erect, but no pressure. Most animals have penises that are flaccid until blood fills them up, but for alligators, their penises are made of solid protein and are always erect and free-floating. The alligator's unusual apparatus remains erect inside a pouch and when the time comes, it shoots out like toothpaste out of the tube.”]

#RASHIMandFriends

Today's toon highlights the importance of Connection Skills, which are an integral piece of RASHIM (Rivera-Azad Sexual Healing Integration Model).
[ID: A 4-panel comic strip. The title of the comic series is RASHIM & Friends. The title of this specific comic is “dropping hints”. The first panel has a green cartoon character shrugging and frowning with text on top of them that reads, “I keep dropping hints to my partner that I need longer foreplay, but they aren't catching on. I guess we're not sexually compatible.” The second panel has a red cartoon character with their arms crossed and frowning and a green cartoon character who is frowning. The pink character has text on top of them that reads, “Damn, every good partner knows foreplay is important. Maybe your partner isn't the "one" if they don't get it. ” The green character has text on top of them that reads, “Right, I shouldn't have to spell out everything.” The third panel has a blue cartoon character who is smiling. On top of them there is text that reads, “Have you tried explicitly asking for what you need, instead of dropping hints? It's OK to voice your needs and desires out loud. No partner is a mind-reader and it's unfair to expect people to just know what you want based on vague cues.” The fourth panel has the green character smiling with their hands in the rock on position with text on top of them that reads, “I didn't want to sound needy by asking directly. But I'm glad I gave my partner a chance, because they were happy to do longer foreplay and now I feel closer and more connected to them!” At the bottom of the graphic, there is gray text that reads, “@heal2end, Learn more at heal2end.org/rashim.”]

#MemesForThot

Another meme for ya! This time on the easy topic of accountability. Hehe, just kidding. As much as accountability has become a  hot topic these days, there is little real talk about what it means. Accountability is not about being a good person. Rather, it is an important connection skill that takes resources, support, and practice

[ID: A meme split into two sections horizontally. The top section has an ostrich smiling with their mouth open with text on the right that reads, “When you first hear about practicing accountability in relationships.” The bottom section has an ostrich with their mouth closed appearing to be growing with text that reads, “When you realize practicing accountability means you also have to learn to apologize, stay humble, and admit you have flaws. @heal2end.”]

#ThereIsAWordForThat

What's it called when you don't feel shame when masturbating? Or when you finally feel at home in your body and soul after years of trauma? Or when you organize a protest for gender-inclusive bathrooms? And even when you get to access abortion care with ease? Well, there is a word for all that: Sexual Liberation

That's right. Sexual Liberation is not just an individual journey, it is about the political work too. Sexual Liberation is a fundamental human right and a movement with a rich history.

Read more about sexual liberation on our Sexual Liberation Campaign Page.
[ID: A graphic with a black chalkboard background. On the left side, there is white text that reads, “Sexual liberation, noun, Sexual Liberation is the movement for liberating ALL bodies, sexualities, and relationships from the rigid moral, cultural, and legal structures that oppress individuals’ access to self-determination with agency and dignity.” On the right side, there are small doodles and a blue character with their eyebrow raised with a pink mustache. In the bottom left corner, there is black text that reads, “@heal2end.”]
