WELCOME

Mental health and wellbeing is being talked about everywhere at the moment, both supporting children, young people and families in theirs but also looking after our own. We're not always so good at looking after ourselves and Space to Breathe are conducting a national survey on wellbeing in those who work with young people. Please complete the survey if you can (takes 10mins) . They also offer some resources.

Are you called to ministry with children, youth or families (CYF)?

Over the coming years Southwark Diocese plans to identify, train and commission a new generation of Children and Youth Leaders for our churches so that our children are served by people whose quality and ability is recognised across the diocese. To find out more about this and the subsequent Aurora Children's Ministry training starting in Sept 2022, book here or email Keli for more information.
Southwark Cathedral does Messy Science
Sat 14 May, 2-4pm, Southwark Cathedral
Centred around Genesis 1, this event includes Science experiments and other activities to think about God's Creation and linking in with climate justice. It also includes  This is a great event to invite those on the fringes of your churches or others you know, particularly if they have a keen interest in the environment. Messy Church International Conference (#CIC22): 'Making a Difference'
20-22 May, The Hayes Conference Centre, Derbyshire. 
A weekend of hands-on ideas, theological input, workshops. It’s for any Messy Church team members, old and young (under 18’s must bring an adult). Find out more and book here

Amplify – Young Evangelists Academy | Hope UK
Recruiting for its 2022/23 intake for young people 11-17 with a gift for evangelism. Young people can apply here 
Young people with an interest in being a pilot?
Fantasy Wings will be funding the cost of training and Private Pilots Licenses for 3 UKME Young People (13-25) on their 22/23 programme.

Pioneer Youth Training from Frontier Youth Trust (FYT)
FYT is a national movement who support and equip pioneer youth work across the UK. They offer a 4 month online CPD training to explore pioneering; working with young people outside the church or looking for what's next in ministry. Contact Dylan at FYT for more information. Cost: £280
