March 2022 Newsletter

Dear <<First Name>>

We often ask ourselves, what could we achieve if we had more time?

Many might say they’d go to the gym, take up a hobby, maybe even write that novel that’s been in the back of their minds for so many years.

But what about water?

As our ambassador, Corinne Bailey Rae, said so eloquently for our Big Give campaign,

Having convenient, safe water inside our homes already gives us considerably more time than we would otherwise have.

The time you might have had to spend walking into town to collect water is likely already filled with more leisurely activities, and you are able to come home to water on tap - into the kettle, and without a second thought.

Women and girls in Malawi walk up to 6 kilometres every day, just to reach a working water point. We’re changing this by supporting and building on our network of water entrepreneurs to fix broken community pumps, and enter into a regular service contract.

Bringing water closer to home frees up time for women and girls to go to school and make a living.

Will you join us this World Water Day?
