Super Saturday

Saturday 19th March, 1pm

Our recent rugby events have been so popular we just had to plan an all-day event for Super Saturday.

We will be opening our Hepburn Suite on the 19th of March and streaming all 3 Six Nation matches that day on the big screen.

Access will be from 1pm with a continental grazing plate of meats, pickles and bread being served at 1.30pm followed by the Wales V Italy game at 2.15pm. At 4.15pm we will be serving a hot dish of katsu chicken curry & rice followed by the Ireland V Scotland match at 4.45pm. Finally, we will serve cheese & biscuits at 7pm before the France v England match at 8pm.

Cost is £18 for members and their guests and £20 for non-members and includes access to the room to watch the game/s, tea and coffee and all dishes mentioned above. You’re welcome to attend all day or just dip in and out as you like. You’ll also have access to the private bar to purchase drinks.

War & Wine

Friday 25th March, 7pm

Rose has managed to get a tasting of some Ukrainian Perry for us and will discussing the current Russian / Ukrainian war along with the others previously planned. We will also be holding a small raffle on the evening with all proceeds going to the DEC appeal.

An evening of history and wine. Learn how vinegrowers, wine villages and wine regions have survived the ravages of war across the world.

During the evening discover wines from families in Champagne, Burgundy and Alsace in France - and learn about their involvement in WW1 and WW2.

The final part of the tasting will focus on wines from war torn corners of the world – including Syria, Lebanon and Armenia.

Visuals will illustrate the producers and their regions – and there will be six wines to taste as well as a delicious supper.

The cost is £45 for members and their guests or £50 for non-members and includes drinks on arrival, a 2 course meal with wine followed by the wine tasting.

Dress code is smart casual.

Mother’s Day Sunday Lunch

Sunday 27th March from 12 noon

We will be offering a special Sunday lunch service on Sunday 27th March to celebrate Mother’s Day. Tables will be available between 12 noon and 2pm. The cost is just £27pp for members and their guests and £30pp for non-members for 3 courses and coffee.
