Daily Star has fall apprentice class openings

If you couldn't interview with the Arizona Daily Star during the Internship Fair, you're still in luck. Most summer openings are filled, but you can apply for the fall apprenticeship class if you're taking or have completed JOUR 306 (undergrads) or JOUR 506 (grad students).

The class, which is three credits, is an excellent way to get published. Those interested can email me at mchesnick1@arizona.edu with departments you'd be interested in (news, sports, features, digital, opinion page, business, photo).

Online News Association Career Day

ONA Career Day is scheduled for Thursday, March 31, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tucson time. The virtual event offers opportunities to learn about job, higher ed and fellowship opportunities.
Registration is free and will get you access to recruiters for jobs, internships, graduate programs and fellowships at all career levels.

Let us know if you received an internship

Recruiters are starting to reach out to students, so fill out this online survey by Monday, March 21, to let us know whether you've accepted a summer or fall internship. And if you didn't attend the internship fair, but have landed a summer or fall internship on your own, please fill out the form, too.

Check out all the NEW listings below. Good luck the rest of the semester. I'm here to help if you have questions!
