Trust for Public Land is excited to be presenting the 2022 Georgia Outdoor Recreation and Trail Summit in Augusta, Georgia on May 15th – 16th. With an emphasis on experiential learning, the 2022 Summit will bring together nonprofit leaders, city planners, elected officials, greenspace advocates, recreation enthusiasts and others to envision an accelerated and ambitious approach to improving Georgia’s trails and recreation venues.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from passionate outdoor advocates while becoming a part of the larger discussion about how trails and outdoor spaces can define communities across the state. The Summit will offer:
- Mobile workshops, including bike rides, kayak paddle, and walking tours, to showcase Augusta and neighboring communities that have imagined, designed and constructed some of the great outdoor venues in Georgia;
- Speakers and sessions to inform and inspire attendees; and
- Networking to spark collaboration and continue dialogue.
General registration starts at only $125. Mobile Workshops and other activities have additional costs to cover related expenses. You can check out the Summit schedule, peruse our program and register on the Outdoor Summit website.
