Jackson Hole Downhill  //  Recap

Thanks to everyone who was a part of JHSC's 2022 FCExcavation Jackson Hole Downhill. Friday's training day and Saturday's Community Race went off perfectly. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had different plans for us on Sunday and delivered a heavy, wet snowstorm that created unsafe conditions forcing us to cancel the Pro and Junior division races. A very special shout out to Jonathan Parker Sr. who raced in our 80+ division.  Well done, sir!

CONGRATULATIONS to Adam McCool who is the only person in the world to have raced in every single Town Downhill and Jackson Hole Downhill since we started hosting the race 40 years ago in 1982!

We have many Downhill supporters who have participated since the beginning, but Adam is the only person who has never missed a race. Incredible achievement!  Adam was honored with a framed "40" bib as well as a laser-engraved Jackson Hole Downhill tomahawk from New West KnifeWorks. Here's to another 40...
