The Ostrander's, Daniel Hazelwood, and our very own Chris Wenz will help us enter into the presence of the Lord through praise and worship as we continue to prepare for war in Spring.
In Genesis 15 as God was cutting covenant with Abraham, He told him that He (God) brought out of Ur of the Chaldees, the land of his ancestors (earthly identity) to take him into the promised land in order to possess it. This covenantal relationship is what every human being is created for; thus, we are to possess a new land that the Lord wants to give to us.
This Saturday we will continue to talk about our fields and spheres and how covenanting with the Lord we can possess the land for His Kingdom and in the process receive the fullness of our inheritance. How do we take the land and occupy it? Come Saturday and we’ll find out together!
When you continue reading the story of Abraham and how he kept covenant with God which was very costly, you see how it was the Lord who kept covenant with Abraham that won the victory. Gen 17: 3 the Lord says “as for Me, this is My covenant with you: you will be the father of many nations.” God changed his name from Abram to Abraham and said, “…for I have made you a father of many nations. I will make you very fruitful.”
As we talk about taking our land (stewardship of our inheritance in God), remember the Lord is changing your identity and He will fulfill your calling and make you very fruitful.” As you consider sowing this month, I encourage you to meditate on this and ask the Lord what gift would be appropriate for such a covenantal blessing. We reap what we sow!
