Market Update
February has come and gone... and the snow has almost disappeared on the Bruce Peninsula! Our team is getting excited for Spring, the warmer weather, the flowers to start blooming and to see many cottagers return back to the area! (For those of you who braved the Bruce during the winter- we made it! :D )
The February real estate market on the Peninsula still saw a Seller's market - overall we have average sale prices increasing, a slight increase in new listings and inventory still remains at record lows.
Across the Grey Bruce Owen Sound area, there were over 250 new listings in the month of February - this was the highest number of new listings in February in over 5 years, and only a slight increase from February 2021.
The months of inventory however, still remain historically low at 1.3*. Even with the increased number of new listings, the Realtors® Association of Grey Bruce Owen Sound indicates that active listings have not been this low in the month of February in more than 3 decades!
The average sale price of homes sold in February 2022 rose to $766,948. The MLS® HPI composite benchmark** for single-family homes across Grey-Bruce was $586,400.

After graduating High School, I moved from Kitchener to London, Ontario where I went to school for a few years at Fanshawe College.
I am a dog mom to my three year old Golden Retriever, Winston. He is full of energy, has a very outgoing personality and definitely keeps us on our toes. My boyfriend Tyler and I recently relocated out to the Northern Bruce Peninsula and are very excited to explore the hiking trails and enjoy all of the nature Bruce Peninsula has to offer!
