A KEY PART OF LENT Amid all the "extra" things that we strive to do during Lent or add to our personal or parish calendars, what's most essential is our worship on the Lord's Day.
A few reminders as we approach the 3rd Sunday of Lent:
> Mass is celebrated at 4 p.m. Saturday, and Sunday at 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
> During the church's renovation, Mass is celebrated in McKillip Hall, AND contrary to what you might have heard or presumed - there is plenty of room.

SHARING LENT WITH OUR NEIGHBORS
On Wednesday, March 23 we revive a tradition of sharing worship with our neighbors at First English Lutheran Church. In the past, people from the two communities have gathered on the evening before Thanksgiving. In this new variation, St. Anne parishioners are invited to First English, 402 N. Third Ave., for a Lenten evening of worship and preaching at 6 p.m. March 23. The homily by Pastor Erik Olson will address Psalm 23 - “God gives me a place of honor.” Members of First English will come to St. Anne for Stations of the Cross at 5:15 p.m. Friday, April 1.
HELP WITH RE-IMAGINING
Volunteers are needed to disassemble 130 of our existing church chairs and remove upholstery as we anticipate upgrading with new upholstery matching that of the new pews. We’ll take on this project at 9 a.m. Tuesday in South Hall. If you’re free to assist, please join us with a skinny flat screwdriver and a needle-nose pliers.
RECONCILIATION-PART 2
An earlier presentation reviewed the history and scriptural foundation of the sacrament of Reconciliation. In this follow-up presentation after this weekend’s 4, 8:30 and 10:30 Masses, Fr. Tom will review how and why we celebrate the sacrament today.
