The Edito

Dear All,

At the time of writing these lines, our thoughts naturally go first and foremost to the victims of the war in Ukraine. Rather than making a long “speech”, we want to use this ‘edito’ to highlight the concrete actions that can be taken to provide humanitarian support to those who find themselves in desperate situations today.

By way of example, you can click on the link below to make a donation to Save the Children and fund their ‘Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal’ aimed at providing basic necessities to child victims of the conflict and to their families:

You can also use the link below to make a donation to the Red Cross:

Finally, the links below provide information on the ‘Homes for Ukraine’ programme recently launched by the British Government, and on how to register to host refugees:

Do not hesitate to share these links – and/or others – around you. And let’s hope that, through all of our actions, whether big or small, we will be able to bring a small portion of humanity to people who need it most.

Take care,

On behalf of the team,

The Agenda

We offer a quick overview of some of the great events taking place this month.

The Dossier

We will provide an update on the ‘STAFE grant application’ submitted by the Fédération a few months ago, which (subject to official confirmation) has just been approved on Wednesday 16 March, thanks in particular to the support of the élus. This has not been an easy journey!

In the Spotlight

An international solidarity NGO, 1001fontaines’ mission is to provide a sustainable solution to issues relating to accessing drinking water in Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam and Madagascar, as well as to ensure the free supply of drinking water in local schools.
