A Special Request From Our Director of Education: Share Your Voice in a 2022 Pennsylvania Statewide Environmental Education Survey
|
|
This project will assess the current status and needs of environmental education (EE) in Pennsylvania through a survey focused on understanding organizations and schools engaged in teaching and learning about the environment.
A high response rate from our state’s 500+ EE provider organizations, 500 school districts, and 200+ private and parochial schools is essential to inform decision-making, professional development, programming, and deliberate actions that successfully builds the capacity of environmental education across the state.
Survey completion requires approximately 15 minutes, with questions on job responsibility in dedicated sections for classroom teachers, school administrators, and non-formal environmental education organizations. One response should be submitted for each non-formal environmental education provider organization. Classroom teachers, meanwhile, should respond individually and are not limited to one per school.
Your participation in the survey — as well as your wide sharing of the survey with education organizations in your networks — is deeply valued. Thank you for your time and commitment to improving environmental education in Pennsylvania.
Sincerely,
Steve Kerlin, Ph.D.
Director of Education
