The Bishops of the United States have called for a three-year grassroots revival of devotion and belief in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. They believe that God wants to see a movement of Catholics across the United States, healed, converted, formed, and unified by an encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist—and sent out in mission “for the life of the world.”
As the Church in the United States prepares to launch the Eucharistic Revival on the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ in June, let us take this opportunity to prepare by joining together to prayerfully and intently contemplate the meaning of the Eucharistic Prayer that we may enkindle in the Church a living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.
