JEFFERSON HILLS, PA – The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office announces the apprehension of Dondre Kelly, 27 years of age from West Mifflin Borough. Kelly was wanted on an arrest warrant where he allegedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old minor.
 
The alleged incident occurred this past Tuesday, April 5, 2022. Kelly contacted the child’s mother stating that he wanted to take the child to a birthday party at Dave and Buster’s Arcade in Homestead. After he picked up the child, he took them to the South Hills Motel in Pleasant Hills, instead of the arcade. Once in a room at the motel, Kelly explained that he had waited two years to have sex with the child. In a disturbed state of mind, the child went to the bathroom and could overhear Kelly watching pornographic videos on his phone. When the child returned from the restroom, he forced the child to do cocaine and began undressing the child and himself. He would go on to sexually assault the child. After the assault, Kelly made the child smoke marijuana with him and then demanded that the child take a shower. Kelly explained that they “smelled like sex” and not to tell the child’s mother what happened or where they were at. While in the shower, Kelly masturbated as the child was washing off. When the child returned home, the mother took the child to UPMC Children’s Hospital where a urinalysis positively identified both cocaine and marijuana in the child’s system. 
 
Due to this incident, the Allegheny County Police Department filed for an arrest warrant for Kelly, including the charges of statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse (2), unlawful contact with minor, rape, sexual assault, concealment - whereabouts of child, corruption of minors, endangering welfare of children, criminal use of communication facility, prohibited acts (2), indecent exposure, indecent assault (4), and open lewdness.
 
Sheriff’s Deputies immediately began searching for Kelly as early as last evening. After hours of interviews and surveillance over the past 24 hours, deputies believed that Kelly was hiding out at a hotel in the Jefferson Hills area. While performing surveillance this afternoon, Sheriff’s Deputies positively identified Kelly leaving a room at the Jefferson Hills Motel and entering the passenger side of a vehicle around 3:45 PM. Deputies surrounded the vehicle and took Kelly into custody without incident. He was transported to the Allegheny County Police Department’s General Investigations Division.
