Native azaleas are flowering, deciduous shrubs that can reach airy heights of 6’-8’.  They can be used in hedgerows or shrub borders, as the background to a perennial garden, or as a specimen plant.  They have great fall color! Some sources say that these azaleas and their precursors have been around for 50 million years, slowly evolving and adapting to their local habitats.  It’s never too late to add one to your garden.

Learn more about them here.
Mountain Laurel now in stock.  A beautiful plant, it does require a specific site.  Its roots require COOL, moist, WELL DRAINED soil.  The plant also needs some sun!  It is found naturally in dry woods and rocky slopes, but will not tolerate a hot, dry site.
Looking for native edible plants?  We've got them!   Top: Cranberry, PawPaw, Serviceberry.  Bottom:  Persimmon, Hazelnut
