Gwynn & Pastor Nate Aanderud from Rolling Hills Covenant Church did a vision trip to S.E. Asia in March. Here are some highlights of the ministry of Sowers there.
We began our ministry in Thailand where Nate preached in Peace Church Ao Nang. We preached in 4 churches, did 2 pastors training seminars, and visited the work of Sowers in 3 countries. We had 7 PCR Covid tests, 13 flights, slept on the floor of the airport in Kuala Lumpur and self isolated in Manila for 9 extra days, due to a positive PCR test. It was an adventure! We were eagerly welcomed by all of the missionaries who had not had a visitor in over 2 years, due to the pandemic.

The 2 day seminar in Cambodia was so encouraging for us, seeing so many local pastors eager to learn more about church planting & discipleship. This is truly the front lines of the movement of God!
We got to preach in the Followers of Jesus Church in Phnom Penh Cambodia.
Training small group leaders in Digos, Philippines. This is a ministry of the Oikos Church. Each one of these groups is a potential church plant. They were so hungry for our training in church planting and discipleship.
A visit to the Haven of Hope orphanage in Digos is always a treat. What an incredible bunch of kids! We are so thankful to God for what He is doing in the lives of these children. Not only raising them in the ways of the Lord but training them to be the future leaders of the church.

We ended our trip preaching in the 5 year anniversary of the Oikos Church in Digos, Philippines.
