iOS App Development (with MDB) 📱

When: Fri 4/15, 5 - 6:30pm
Where: Soda 405

Join AWE and MDB to make your own iOS app in under 2 hours! Today, native Apps continue to offer unparalleled performance and user experience. In this workshop, we will take you through the Apple technologies behind the millions of Apps used by over one billion iPhones around the world. We will start with an overview of Swift fundamentals, followed by a short introduction to the iOS SDK. We will demonstrate how you can quickly prototype your App using UIKit and Storyboard. You will have the opportunity to follow along using the provided starter code and instructions.

Berkeley Project Day 🌱

When: Sat 4/16, 9 - 4pm (volunteering) & 6 - 9pm (optional bonding activities)
Where: site TBD

If you signed up to volunteer at the Berkeley Project with AWE, be sure to show up bright and early on Saturday for a day of giving back to the community! Also be sure to join us after for bonding activities and getting to know your fellow AWE members 💖

Field Trip to the Marina ⚓

When: Sun 4/17, 10 - 3pm

Bob-AWE Chats 🍵

Sign-Up Form: Link

Bob-AWE Chats are one-on-one casual 1 hour convos regarding AWE or the CS/EECS department with Trevina Tan (AWE Advisor & former AWE President) or Emily Su (AWE Advisor & former AWE Internal Vice President).

The purpose of these boba chats is to get to know your experiences so far with AWE and CS/EECS at Berkeley. If you'd like, feedback you provide can be brought up by Trevina or Emily to the AWEfficer/committee team or Rusy to the EECS department chair.

Sign up for a Bob-AWE Chat here! Make sure to complete both this form AND sign up for a calendar slot (link in the form). Bob-AWE Chats will be at Asha Tea House unless otherwise requested and will be reimbursed!
