Principal's Message
Thursday Lenten Prayer
Lord,
all I want is to be faithful to you in my life,
but so often I fail.
Free me from my many sins
and guide me to the life I will share with you.
I wait for your promise to be fulfilled
with great hope in my heart
and your praise on my lips..
Amen

Dear Parents,

As Washington County continues working to return to pre-pandemic activity levels St. Mary’s will also continue expanding activities to include additional field trips, H.S.A. family events and class parties however we will do so at a measured pace.  For example, on March 23rd our 8th Grade students took a walking field trip to the Washington County Library.  Masks continue to be optional, and we continue to encourage our student family community to evaluate, plan, and or attend any such event consistent with their personal comfort levels without prejudice.  Other upcoming events include, but are not limited to:

  • April 12th - Geo Bee for Grades 5-8 (1:30) & Art Gallery at the Museum (5-7pm)

  • April 13th - Lenten Prayer Service (8:30am) & Grades 3-8 Team Building Activities (1:30pm)

  • April 26th - K-2 Egg Hunt Field Trip to the Park

  • May 4th - NJHS Induction Ceremony

  • TBA 5th Grade Wax Museum

  • May 16th - 20th School Spirit Week

  • May 20th - Family Fun Night

  • May 27th - Spirit Rally & Faculty and 8th grade Dodgeball game (1:30pm)

  • May 31st - 8th Grade Morning of Service & Graduation Practice

  • June 1st - 8th Grade graduation practice, clap out, & picnic luncheon party

  • June 2nd - Antietam Recreation Day

  • June 3rd - 8th grade Graduation (7pm)
    Last day for Cafeteria Lunches

  • June 6-8: Pack lunches

  • June 7th - Kindergarten Graduation & PK Program

  • June 8th - Class End of Year Parties

  • June 9th - Mass (8:30) & Last day of school

Easter is a time of forgiveness and renewal and I encourage our student-family community to celebrate the resurrection and emulate God’s grace, love and compassion in our daily lives.

With the light of Christ shining in our hearts,

Mrs. Hanner

Interim Principal

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

— Matthew 7:7-8
