Wake County Public Schools is administering a District Wide Family Survey through Friday, May 6. This survey provides families the opportunity to provide valuable information and a high-quality data source for planning and school improvement at Sanderson.
The current Presidential Volunteer Service Award/SHS Volunteer Hours form is posted on the PTO website. Please download the form to record your volunteer hours from 4/16/2021 through 4/15/2022. Forms are due by 4/30/22. Please scan and email them to seminolejulie@gmail.com.
Student Council has several events coming up in the next two months (PALS prom, prom, and senior picnic) that need donations of mini water bottles. Parents can drop off donations in the front office or students can bring them to Room 242.
Family Career Community Leaders of America, the only Career Technical Organization with Family as its focus, had its state leadership conference and competition in Greensboro last week.
We had a student group compete in the chapter service project STAR event. Erin Pace and Ava White won gold at the event and finished first place.Kennedy Guy competed in the interior design STAR event and finished 4th in the state and earned a bronze medal. In February, Angela Clese competed in the FCCLA culinary arts competition and earned a first place award and renewable scholarship to Johnson Wales University.CONGRATULATIONS!

The Sanderson Wind Ensemble won Superior ratings in all categories at the Music Performance Adjudication ("MPA") on March 23rd! That's the finest conceivable performance!
The Winter Guard just completed their season competing at the Atlantic Indoor Association "South Championships" and placed 4th place in their division.
The final concert of the year will be Tuesday, May 17th at 7pm.
