Speakers:

Laura Shinall
Managing Partner at FreshPath Marketing

Laura has spent most of her career in the floral industry. An entrepreneur at heart, she ran a small floral entity in high school and after college worked as a supply manager for Kennicott Bros./Milwaukee. She spent over 20 years with Syndicate Sales in various capacities, serving as an Account Manager, Director of Marketing and President. Laura ushered in a new wave of leadership and set new and elevated marketing standards for the floral industry. The tangible results of her efforts included the creation of ground-breaking industry partnerships that led to the introductions of game-changing design mechanics such as the Holly Chapple Egg TM and Pillow TM and the DIY Floral Grid TM. Laura inherently understands the value of collaboration and teamwork. Her curiosity fuels her desire for success and she is driven by her passion for business. Laura has also served on the SAF Wholesale Council, the SAF Board of Directors and is currently Chair of the AFE Board of Trustees.

Melanie Spilbeler
Managing Partner at FreshPath Marketing

Melanie has spent over 15 years in positions centered around consumers, their preferences, and how to provide a better experience for them. Prior to co-founding FreshPath, she spent 5 years at Syndicate Sales serving as the Director of Marketing. She quickly became immersed in the floriculture industry developing e-commerce experiences, fostering one-of-a-kind brand partnerships, and launching numerous new products and programs for Syndicate. Melanie’s greatest strengths lie in her ability to analyze data points and inputs, understand how they are connected, and provide actionable recommendations. She is acutely aware of the challenges facing many teams today: lack of resources, identifying the right technology, and developing effective campaigns. She currently chairs the WF&FSA Marketing Committee and serves on the WF&FSA Board of Directors and the SAF Wholesale Council.
