On the second Monday of each month (April 11, this month), we have an informal chat meeting at 7:00 PM where we discuss whatever native plant and biodiversity questions are on attendees minds. See the Event page for details. These meetings are open to everyone.

Wild Ones Members-only Hikes and Tours
- Wildflower Hike - Taylor Hollow, Westmoreland, TN, Tuesday, April 12, 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM. Event Page and SignUp Form

Open to the Public
Our chapter will have a booth at these two upcoming festivals:
- Table Event, Outdoor Murfreesboro's Conservation Days 2022, Barfield Crescent Park, Murfreesboro, TN, April 23, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. There are also hikes on the afternoon of April 22. Hike signups open April 15 on the web page linked above.
- Table Event, Elsie Quarterman Cedar Glade Festival, Cedars of Lebanon State Park, April 30, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The final schedule for the festival is not published on the web yet, but this Center for Glade Studies page has some of the details.

Our chapter, in conjunction with Owl's Hill Nature Sanctuary, will hold their Spring Native Plant Sale on Saturday, May 14 from 10 AM to 12:30 PM. Online sales will be available beginning Monday, May 2, until Noon on Tuesday, May 10. Online orders need to be picked up on Friday, May 13 at Owl's Hill. More details coming.
We will need lots of volunteers to help Wednesday through Saturday, May 11 - 14, to help make this sale successful. SignUps for each of the days are available at SignUp.com.
Anyone is welcome to contribute plants to the sale. We ask that you have a positive ID down to species. The deadline for submitting species to be included in the online portion of the sale is Monday, April 11. It's OK if you don't know the exact number of plants in each species. Please submit species information or questions to wildonesmidtn@gmail.com.

Our next book club meeting will be on Thursday, June 16, at 7 PM. Our topic will be The Insect Crisis: The Fall of the Tiny Empires That Run the World by Oliver Milman. Registration details coming soon.

The spring wildflower hikes continue at Owl's Hill each Saturday through April 23 beginning at 9:30 AM and lasting approximately until Noon. Registration is at their website.

Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage

There is still time to register for the 72nd Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park April 26 - 30. It features 194 expert-led programs on a huge variety of topics and has been a true bucket list event for many decades.
