Breaking Ground To Make Way For New Car Dealerships

I joined Marsim Auto Group and MPP Stan Cho at 151 Billy Bishop Way to break ground for a new Hyundai Canada and  Genesis car dealership. I am excited to see this organization set up here at York Centre to support the post-pandemic ignition of our economy!

You are invited to York Centre's Environment Days

You are invited to bring used or unwanted household items to the Community Environment Day event! This year, we are hosting two Environment Days: April 14 and June 19. Bring electronics, hazardous waste and goods for safe disposal and donation! The environment days will take place on:

April 14,  4:00 – 8:00 PM at Esther Shiner Stadium | 5720 Bathurst Street

June 19, 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM at Downsview Park | close to 35 Carl Hall Road

Community Cleanups are back!

Schedule yours for April 22-24 during the city's annual spring cleanup. Community-groups, schools and businesses are invited to bring their own bags and spend 20 minutes picking up litter from parks and public spaces. Registration is open through the link below. Registration closes on April 15.

Lacing Up My Skates To Wrap Up The Winter Season

I had an enjoyable time drinking hot chocolate, eating popcorn and hitting the ice to wrap up the winter season at Herbert H Carnegie Centennial Centre. Great to see everyone, including the North York Rangers Jr A Hockey Team. Until next season!

It was my great honour to meet Their Excellencies the Right Honourable Mary Simon, and Mr. Whit Fraser on their first official visit to Toronto. Her Excellency is the first Indigenous person to hold this office.

Honoured to re-launch ArtworxTO in Hub NORTH in Downsview for Toronto's Year of Public Art 2021–2022!  Pleased to attend the IMAGInuity exhibit tour with Danilo Deluxo and Black Speculative Arts Movement Canada. Fast Track  is for youth aged 18 – 29 and includes five weeks of hospitality specific training (half days) and certifications (Smart Serve, Food Handlers)  followed by 2 weeks of on-the-job experience with hospitality employers.  Participants receive a stipend upon completion.
