We’re happy to share that the teacher training at our pilot school is complete and students will soon begin our Resilience Builder Program Universal™! This fall, we will also train the fifth grade teachers at 3 public elementary schools that primarily serve economically disadvantaged students. All together, our program will help build resilience and increase academic engagement of over 300 students this year!

To help support our school programs, we have two fun events in May: a virtual trivia night and silent auction. Proceeds will go toward teacher training and support, curriculum refinement, our video mini-lessons project, and other program costs. Our founder, Dr. Mary Alvord, has pledged to match $5,000 in ticket sales and donations through the end of May in honor of Mental Health Awareness month. Additionally, everyone who purchases a ticket, makes a donation, or bids at our silent auction will also be entered into a drawing to win one of five $50 gift certificates generously donated by Picaboo. At Picaboo, you can personalize and print custom photo books, photo cards, calendars, home decor, and photo gifts.

Have fun with friends while supporting a good cause at our virtual Trivia Night hosted by the professionals at Trivia Mafia!

Trivia Mafia is committed to providing the best team trivia around. Join us on Zoom for a fresh batch of enjoyably challenging questions about all kinds of topics, from patents to TV parents, lemmings to the album Lemonade.

• Follow the Zoom link (emailed later) to start the game; you can join up to fifteen minutes early to size up the competition and socialize.

• At the start of the game, you can provide a Team Name to play with a group of your choice (4-6 players). If you don't have a group in mind, simply enter Free Agent to be placed with other solo trivia lovers!

• The host will go over the Rules, read a round of five questions, and then whisk you away to your team's private Breakout Room to discuss the questions.

• You'll have five minutes to confer about the answers, then one person from your team will submit answers via a Google Form (provided during the Rules).

• The game will be 6 rounds of questions and take about two hours, and you'll see the team standings by the end.#braggingrights

Bonus!

The talented chefs and bartenders at All Set Restaurant & Bar have made us a fabulous "at-home menu" with delicious appetizer and drink recipes! The menus will be sent out with the trivia night link so you have plenty of time to gather the ingredients. A walk-through of the recipes during the trivia night will add to the fun!

We have some wonderful items—big and small—at our second annual silent auction. The auction will open on May 1st and close on May 15th at 10pm EST. Items range from National Aquarium tickets to wine shipped from Italy to an American Girl doll. We'll be adding new items for you to preview as the auction date approaches. You can register now and add items to your "favorites" list!
