Church Buildings for Collaborative Partnerships (CBCP) site visit at St. Tim's last Thursday.

There were 27 (27!) people around the table thinking about how their building could be used to benefit a community that struggles with safety and accessibility due to lack of sidewalks and public transit. Community leaders who acknowledged past harms at the hands of the church expressed surprise and gratitude at how St. Timothy’s has LGBTQ+ and people with disabilities in mind before they even enter the building.

Just a reminder, on Sunday, May 1, it will be B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Box) Sunday. On that day, we will have our spring ingathering for UTO and will present our gifts of gratitude for all the blessings in our lives to God.

Studies have shown that keeping a gratitude journal improves your overall health. There is no right or wrong way to keep a gratitude journal, but UTO has created this as a spot to capture five quick words or moments of gratitude for this week.  Click here to view.
