Do you have a minute to take action to support charter schools?

Newly proposed rules from the U.S. Department of Education would create roadblocks that would make Charter Schools Program (CSP) funds almost completely inaccessible. It’s outrageous that Washington would target charter schools in this way—particularly when more families than ever are turning to charter schools.

If adopted, these regulations would potentially impact all charter schools, but will disproportionately harm single-site charter schools and school leaders from rural communities, and Black, Brown, and Native school leaders. Make no mistake, this is a backdoor attempt to prevent new charter schools from opening—the very purpose of the CSP. Please take action against these proposals today.
