Together we will honor the Seder tradition virtually then close down our computers to continue remembering God’s Passover in intimate gatherings as they have honored since He established this appointed time. Following our Passover Seder on Friday, we’ll be honoring Jesus together on Saturday Night at our Feast of First Fruits Celebration, April 16th, equipping all to continue in the spirit of the holiday season through the seven day Feast of Unleavened Bread, which ends April 23rd. We look forward to all God has for our community as we honor Him and His appointed times!
NISSAN
This Saturday Becky will lead us in looking at the first month of the Hebraic calendar, Nissan. This is when Passover is celebrated, which we will be doing next weekend. It’s the month of redemption, the month of the beginning of miracles, and the month that sets the course for your future. This month is also linked with Judah, the tribe of the apostolic, the warring tribe that knows how to move with sound and overcome in battle!
We are now advancing in the new move of Holy Spirit with signs, wonders, and miracles witnessed by this past weekend that David Gamboa and John LaChapelle led us in. What a powerful time of breaking into the new! This month is all about redemption and sets our course for the future.
Acts 2:38-39, 41-45 38 Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far away, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself.” | 41 So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls. 42 They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
43 Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles. 44 And all the believers were together and had all things in common; 45 and they would sell their property and possessions and share them with all, to the extent that anyone had need.
This passage is so where we are in a fresh way! As you consider your giving this month, sow into the new move of God that has begun. Sow with a vision of the generations coming to Christ, being healed and delivered, and devoting themselves to the work of the kingdom!
