Dear Kesher Torah Family —

Please join us this Shabbos after davening around 11:30 AM  for the final standing kiddush before Pesach begins. We are wrapping up our  "empty the cabinets and clean the fridge" push to prepare for next weeks holiday.  If you would like a few munchies, a l’chaim and good conversation, we look forward to seeing you.

As a reminder, you will find important information further down in this newsletter including several important links. First is the chametz sale form which can be done online or printed and given to Rabbi Werbin. Additionally, you will find the Pesach laws. AKC guides and additional reference information in the second link.

Please note that Kesher Torah is working with Congregation Beth Jacob to assist with the sale of chametz.
Beth Jacob staff is expecting Kesher Torah members to submit this chametz sales form and are happy to assist. There is no cost for this service but if you choose to give a Maot Chitim gift to help the poor you may do this here or you may contact Rabbi Werbin. Rabbi Werbin will distribute the funds to those in need.

Please be sure to always scroll to the bottom of this newsletter so you don’t miss important information and flyers.

Have a wonderful Shabbos,

Greg

Maot Chitim

There is a tradition before Pesach to donate charity, called Maot Chitim, to families in need of assistance. Rabbi Werbin welcomes donations to the Maot Chitim Fund which will be used to help people in need with Pesach expenses, (Ma’ot Chitim) and other charitable needs. It is our job to make sure that those who are in need of assistance to have food for the seder have it, and through your generous donations of Maot Chitim, those in need will indeed have this support. You may make your donation using the link below, or to Rabbi Werbin directly.
