Serving Carlisle's 60+ Community

COA Bits & Bytes

Week of April 3, 2022

SPECIAL NOTICES, UPDATES, UPCOMING EVENTS

SPECIAL NOTICE: Mental Health Program - Last December the Council on Aging sent a survey to all residents aged 60 and older to gauge potential interest in online counseling/mental health services. Based on the responses we applied for funding to pay for these services for people for whom the ongoing cost would be a financial burden. We are delighted that the Carlisle ARPA Committee and the Select Board approved this project to support the mental health needs of seniors in Carlisle.

We currently have funding for up to 20 participants. If you are interested in learning more about this program, contact Carol Grueneich (cgrueneich@carlislema.gov). If you do not need financial support but would like more information or assistance with online counseling services, we are also available to help.
