Dear <<First Name>>,

It may be no surprise that the SSFA has, for obvious reasons, POSTPONED football for this coming weekend.

All games are now off this weekend (except for the Shire Premier League fixtures).

We are all missing our football, but what can you do?

Please note: All clubs will work with the SSFA to consider options to make up for the missed games. As it stands, the first games will now be Round 3:
  • Round 3: 09-10 April
  • Easter Break: 16-17 April (no games)
  • Round 4: 23-24 April
  • Round 1: 30 April-01 May
  • Round 2: 07-08 May
Enjoy your weekend and hopefully, we'll get to kick off next weekend.

PS: The uniform shop is closed tonight, but online orders are open here.
HELP OUR KIDS!

The wet weather has not only washed out this weekend's games, but it has also been washing out all of the fundraising opportunities for our 2022 Bardon Touring Team. The kids' fundraising efforts have also been severely impacted by the COVID-shortened season last year, and the loss of our big club events like Junior Presentation Day. As such, we'd love you to support them by taking part in our fundraising raffle. There are some truly awesome prizes up for grabs too! Please check it out here.
Thanks for your support, and good luck!

COME AND WATCH THE BIG GAME!

Our Premier League teams are taking on Cronulla Seagulla at Seymour Shaw Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The games will be on rain or shine. The Shark's Bar and canteen will be open, so come down and cheer our boys on!

LET'S HELP LISMORE GET BACK ON THEIR FEET

Football Far North Coast has reached out to see if we can help their footballers get back on their feet.

As you know, the Far North Coast has been absolutely devastated by floods, with the Lismore CBD (for example) being obliterated and a forecast of years for recovery… If at all.

There is a concern for the future of football given that the focus after the floods is simply to find a bed.

Football Far North Coast would like to give hope wherever possible … and provide an outlet, and to that end, an amended season is being discussed.

One way we can help is to collect donated football boots, socks and shin pads (new or quality second hand). As such, we are calling for Tigers to bring down any unneeded items to the clubhouse this SATURDAY 02 April 12-4 pm (or you can squeeze through the grill anytime during the week)We will then deliver everything to Seagulls where a truck (donated by Richmond Valley Removals) will be organized to collect donations from the Seagulls clubhouse and deliver donations to the Far North Coast ASAP.

Donation requirements:

  • All items to be clean and good quality.
  • Shoelaces to be tied.
Thank you.
