Dear <<First Name>>,

After we left Ukraine we began to serve refugees who were fleeing the war. God worked in amazing ways to provide physically and spiritually.

It's hard to believe that it's already been over a month since Russia attacked our dear Ukraine! In some ways it seems like it's been such a long time since we fled our home and in other ways it seems like the time has passed in a matter of a day or two. The truth is that much has happened both in and outside of Ukraine since February 24th! I will try to give you a brief summary of some of the highlights here but for a more detailed report I encourage you watch the video above where Christina and I explain what the first days were like after coming to Chisinau, Moldova.

We spent the first two weeks working to find housing and transportation for many of our internationals who were coming out of Ukraine. We sent some to Germany, some to Romania, and others went back to their home countries. Camp Falcon Rock in Transylvania, Romania took 13 of our students! What a blessing!

Our Nigerian students on the bus in Chisinau, Moldova leaving for Western Romania.

Pastor Eduard, a good friend, gave us a large home to stay in just outside of town. This week we have an Indian, a Ukrainian, a Nigerian, and a South African living with us! It's truly and international home! Additionally, we have had a number of Ukrainian families connected with our church and ministry coming through home here in Chisinau.

Once the flow of international refugees slowed down I decided to take a trip to Romania to visit some of our people there. Before the war started we had planned to do a baptism in March. Why let Putin's invasion of Ukraine stop to these baptisms? With that in mind I talked to those who wanted to get baptized and they were more than ready to move forward with the baptisms.

I baptized Leo, who is from India, at Holy Trinity Baptist Church in Bucharest, Romania on Tuesday, March 22nd. We had several other people from our church in Odesa show up at the baptism! Leo is from a Catholic background in India where they attended the Catholic Church purely as a tradition and not because of personal faith in Jesus Christ. He shared how he has put his faith in Christ and trusts him and him alone for his salvation. His baptism was a powerful testimony to his personal faith and to all Jesus has done for him!

After baptizing Leo I traveled to the mountains of Transylvania in Western Romania where we had sent a group of our students. There I baptized Rhoda, a first year medical student from Nigeria!  You can watch her testimony here.

In my last letter I shared with you about our friend Prawin from India and his wife Marsha who were stuck in Russian controlled Kherson. Praise God, they made it out safely! It was really a miracle! I met them this past Saturday at the border along with their friend Pierre from South Africa. I will post their story on my youtube channel of how they made it out of Kherson alive and how their buildings were fired on by Russian tanks. Now they are recuperating and trying to figure out the next step. Please pray for them!

Concerning developments in the war in Ukraine. There is some positive news that Russian forces are pulling back from around Kyiv. That being said we are cautious to celebrate anything as of yet. The cities of Mariupol, Chernigiv, Kharkiv and others are still under fire. Wars are strange and unpredictable things! Please continue to pray for a full and complete victory over the invading forces by our Ukrainian troops!

Our Ukrainian Churches are serving, feeding, transporting, and sheltering people around the clock. We are sending financial support to them so that they can continue these vital outreaches, saving lives and souls!

Finally, I would like to ask pray specifically for me as I'll be doing some more ministry traveling this weekend. The needs and opportunities are far greater than I have ever experienced in my life time!

Praying for peace and serving the Prince of Peace!
