More about the annual events
We stand firmly in solidarity with the people of Ukraine today. Our values are democracy, mutual understanding and tolerance, respect for human rights and transnational and intercultural dialogue. Violence and war have no place in Europe: generations of Europeans, including adult learners and educators, have devoted their lives to building peace and solidarity. We cannot let anyone take away the foundations of our democratic societies.

EAEA stands firmly in solidarity with the people of Ukraine

Over many years, EAEA has had the opportunity to appreciate the extraordinary work of our colleagues in Ukraine in defence of democratic values and human rights.  EAEA calls for a diplomatic solution to the crisis to protect the people of Ukraine and our shared values, while assuring assistance and humanitarian aid to those in need.
