Early Asparagus

With Spring here and Summer soon to follow, we start to see popular seasonal produce ready to harvest. The early English asparagus season has begun with growers such as The New Forest Fruit Company and Wye Valley Produce. Local asparagus crops are expected to harvest from May subject to favourable weather conditions. Ask about our daily market availability when ordering.

Fresh Updates

Stone Ground Flour

The Cornish Mill & Bakehouse produce stone ground flours on their farm just outside St Newlyn East. They grow and mill a bread variety of wheat called Mulika which is ideal for bread making. These are just a few reasons why their Cornish flour is special and how it bakes in a unique way, compared to other bread flour brands.

Ending Celebrations

Ending our IWD celebrations, we commemorate the one and only Emma Johnson. It is with great sadness that we said goodbye to Emma recently, as she moved on to pastures new, relocating to sunny Scotland. We have had the pleasure and benefit of Emma’s knowledge, passion and drive over the last 8 years. Thank you Emma – this one is for you!
