Take-Action Checklist: April 4, 2022

_____________________________

I can’t control my child. I can’t force insight, oblige wisdom, or coerce understanding. My daughter was young enough when she went through her transgender journey that I still had power to enact consequences for her behavior—thank God—but I have no power to govern my child’s heart. I never did. I never will.

This thing may have been my fault. But it probably wasn’t.

NEW DAY for the TAKE-ACTION CHECKLIST

We’re trying out Tuesdays instead of Fridays for sending out this list of actions, because we recognize that everyone’s exhausted by Friday. Let us know which you prefer going forward, if one day works better than the other.

OUR CHILDREN ARE IN DANGER

Addressed to : Parents, doctors, teachers, pharmacists, citizens concerned about the health of our children

Our children are in danger

"You don't feel good in your sneakers, maybe you were born in the wrong body?"

More and more young people, prey to the troubles inherent to adolescence, influenced by ambient mimicry, victims of a sectarian hold or under the influence of social networks, are asking to change their gender. The requests are exploding in France and affect mostly girls.

With what precautions and at what age is it allowed to mutilate a healthy body? There is no law governing these practices.

No precautions are taken to ensure that the request for transition is well-founded.

In a press release dated February 28, 2022, the French National Academy of Medicine recommends great medical caution in children and adolescents, given the vulnerability, particularly psychological, of this population and the numerous undesirable effects, and even serious complications, that some of the available therapies can cause.

Nowadays, changing your sex at the civil status is a formality. Changing your physical appearance is a definitive act and easy to achieve.

With no mandatory reflection period, no psychotherapy required, no informed consent, and no information required on the effects of lifelong medication, health professionals are now faced with an influx of patients who self-diagnose as transgender. In defiance of all ethics, some doctors write prescriptions for testosterone, estrogens and/or surgery (removal of breasts or testicles) at the first appointment. We, the collective of concerned parents, have the proof.

These treatments are irreversible.

These treatments are covered as a long-term condition (ALD) in the same way as cancer or multiple sclerosis. They are reimbursed at 100% by social security.

It is therefore urgent to regulate the medical, ethical and legal aspects.

-To avoid that tomorrow, a health scandal will target health professionals involved in the prescription of irreversible acts and/or mutilation.

-To proscribe the lucrative excesses of laboratories.

-To prevent the multiplication of detransitioners whose dramatic accounts abound on social networks.

Like the precautions taken by Sweden, Finland, Great Britain or Australia, the Ypomoni collective would like gender transitions in France to be regulated:

1) Prioritize and force a psychological approach because psychological discomfort in one gender is not always resolved by the transition to the other gender.

2) To allow gender transitions, after a multidisciplinary scientific evaluation of a minimum period of two years.

3) To authorize medical transitions, only within the framework of a hospital research protocol.

Item 3: Share this Video Discussing the Harms of Gender Medicine

Item 4: Share a Graphic on Social Media

Simply providing some counter-narrative to the transgender industry’s propaganda will help turn public opinion back to facts & reality. Grab one of these social media graphics and share it in your newsfeed.
