| Dining Halls:
What's open when? Ask Cornell Dining Now! Check now.dining.cornell.edu to see what's open when near you, based on your location. Skim menus at each eatery, and see announcements about events. Check Cornell Dining Now for the latest hours and menus | | If you are leaving for Break (especially if all roommates/suitemates are not going to be here): If you are traveling, please register your travel with Daily Check and follow all travel guidelines, including this testing protocol Pick up two antigen test kits from any COVID-19 testing site on campus. Complete one antigen test prior to the start of break on April 2 and submit the results to the Daily Check. Complete the second test at the end of Spring Break and before you return to campus and submit the results to the Daily Check.
Please make sure your windows are closed before you leave, especially if you are the last one leaving. This will prevent any rain or bugs from coming into your room.
Turn OFF all alarm clocks before you leave. We will not be able to enter your room to turn it off without a written permission, and if it keeps going off for hours, it will be a disruption to the entire community.
Make sure all trash is taken out to the trash rooms, especially items that will decompose. If you have food that will expire over the break, either share it with a friend before it goes bad or throw it out so you don’t have food rotting in your fridge or room. Unplug electronics (other than fridge) to conserve energy.
Please remember to take your passport/travel documents, medications and all valuables with you or make sure they are locked up properly. Please remember to lock your door and take your room key with you (and bring it back).
| | | Ramadan Kareem to everyone observing! As Ramadan begins the evening of Saturday, April 2nd, we'd like to share with you the resources available to students, staff, and faculty on campus who are observing this month of fasting. That includes takeout containers so you can pick up meals at your convenience before sundown, pre-fast meal boxes you can pick up the night before, Halal meals available at multiple dining rooms, and extended hours so you can dine after sundown. |
