Stop the war in Ukraine!
Stop the war in Ukraine. Stop the killing. Russia out of Ukraine. Ukraine deserves self-determination. Ukraine has a right to exist as a free independent country, not dominated by the US or Russia.
Another war for oil?
NATO does not have any right to expand or provoke Russia. It is an aggressive nuclear-armed military alliance that is growing exponentially and threatens the entire world with an updated version of a world-wide Monroe Doctrine (a warning in 1823 to Europe that the US would no longer tolerate colonization or puppets in the Americas). Funded and controlled primarily by the United States, NATO serves the imperial interests of US and other western capitalists. Interests like those of the oil giants that want to replace cheap Russian Nord Stream 2 pipeline gas with more expensive fracked US products.
Putin, one of the richest men in the world, represents the Russian capitalists that rose out of the dissolution of the Soviet Union. It is these two camps of greedy capitalists fighting over the “spoils” in Ukraine that are bringing the world closer to nuclear winter and environmental disaster.
US, Ukrainian, and Russian workers have nothing to gain in a war between two camps of greedy capitalists. Resist the avalanche of corporate pro-war propaganda. Reject the corporate media attempts to manufacture public consent for war until we can replace them with our own media for the public good not corporate greed.
Let us build solidarity with the Ukrainian workers and Russian anti-war movement, and unity here at home to fight for housing, healthcare, elimination of student debt, income equity, and the Green New Deal.
Let the greedy capitalist oligarchs fight their own damn wars.
