Thank you to all those who ordered from me last week. Unfortunately there was an issue with the first batch of Country Sourdough - the colder snap had an impact on timings - which resulted in some flat dense loaves. Once realised I contacted customers to arrange replacing loaves. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused and grateful to all effected for your understanding - especially those who made a second trip in horrible weather to collect their loaves. The new schedule where I bake in the morning instead of the afternoon has been pretty successful bar this hiccup - but lessons have been learnt! 

On this note, do please, please get in touch if ever you are not completely happy with the quality of what you receive. I rely on customer feedback to know what - if anything - is going right or wrong and I am always happy to replace, refund or add credit to your account where there is an error.

April and May Bread Club, Holidays & Bake Days coming up

I have made some changes to normal bake days during April and May which means that Bread Club will not be running during this time. I have however added sourdough bakes for April and May (with dates included in the title) in the Bakery shop so do please order now if you like to plan ahead.
Ordering ahead helps you to guarantee your loaf of choice and assists me enormously in planning and administration of orders.

I will be baking on Thursday 7th April but no bake planned for the following week, Easter Week, as we will be away. I may - if time and schedule allows - do a pop up bake on Good Friday morning however I will have to decide on this nearer the time but definitely no sourdough or hot cross buns at this time. You may want to order two loaves and extra Hot Cross Buns this week to cover this - they all freeze very well.

#CookForUkraine Babka
Thank you to all those who ordered babkas during March. I will tally up the monies raised over the next week and report back.
