A warm weekend saw the buzzer hatches improving with fish being taken at the Lagoon and East Arm areas of the lake with small 12 -14 buzzers and nymphs. A quieter week followed due to the colder weather and strong North Easterly winds, although a few anglers braved the cold, with Paul White catching the week’s best fish and releasing 20+. Bank fishing was harder with the majority of fish being caught on the boats. The West Arm is holding a good number of fish with washing line and small buzzers being the best methods over the shallow water.  Towards the end of the week fish started to show at the Dam end of the lake and most evenings there has been an evening rise to small hatching buzzers.

Next Stocking Friday 8th April.
