Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW), our joint venture with Airbus,  has received the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency for its head-of-version A320 Passenger-to-Freighter aircraft. This prototype aircraft will be the first of several to be leased to Vaayu Group, through our aviation leasing arm.
 

We have just signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore to advance the development and adoption of unmanned aircraft (UA) technologies in Singapore. Through this public-private partnership, we will jointly identify and determine the maturity of UA-related technologies and assess their value and feasibility for implementation in Singapore.

We will be among the first to implement GE Aviation’s Test Cell Advisor to our CFM56 overhaul shops in Singapore and Xiamen, China. The Test Cell Advisor uses data analytics to improve test cell efficiency, allowing us to provide cost effective maintenance services. Such smart technologies help further our high standards in quality and safety, and customers can look forward to greater value to come.
