RedHawk Sprints

On April 9th, teams from around the Midwest will compete on the waters we train of Lake Acton. This is a monumental occasion as this will be the first time hosting our regatta since 2019 and reigniting the tradition dating all the way back to 2002.

Weather permitting, racing is expected to begin around 8:30am and the tentative schedule can be found below. The button below will take your to our RedHawk Sprints homepage in which information regarding navigation and parking, updated race schedules, post-race results and good spectator locations can all be found.

All family, friends, and alumni are welcome and encouraged to be here to celebrate and cheer on the club we all cherish. If you have any questions regarding the event, please feel free to reach out and contact the email below.

Alumni and Family Gathering

Following the events of the race day rowers, family, and alumni are all encouraged to come join us at Skippers Pub and Top Deck for drinks and a special trivia event Uptown, right in the heart of Oxford.

The rental is from 8:30pm-10:30pm, with trivia starting at 9:30pm on April 9th.

To get to Top Deck, our reserved area for this event, proceed through the red gate and follow the stairs attached directly to the left of the building outside to take you to the second floor.

All family, friends, and alumni are welcome and encouraged to be here. Stay for as long as you'd like and make sure to wear your MURC apparel! If you have any questions regarding the event, please feel free to reach out and contact the email below.

Interested In Contributing on Race Day?

If you are interested in supporting our team on race day a significant way to help out is by donating food such as fresh fruits and granola bars, water, and other snacks to our rowers.

You can follow the button below to a signup sheet that you can pick what you want to provide and help indicate what else there's a need for to other alumni and family interested in contributing. If you'd like to contribute a financial donation towards the race day potluck there is a link on the signup page that will take you directly to our donation portal through Miami University.
