What's New?

Masked Up Monday Morning Sessions start April 11, 2022! During this weekly session, everyone in the museum will be required to wear a mask, to ensure the safety of visitors, and those who are medically fragile. Our staff will be masked-up during the session. Masked Up Monday session will be from 10 am-12 pm. Reservations not required. These sessions are made possible by generous support from the Nysether Family Foundation and the Skagit Community Foundation.

Community Access Day, formerly known as Community Free Day, is on April 12, 2022! Providing access for everyone to the Children's Museum has always been a priority. Community Access Day will continue to be held on the second Tuesday of the month, and the museum will be open from 10 am-5 pm. Admission will be "pay as you can", which includes no charge, in order to reduce barriers for children and families. Brad Methner, Agent for State Farm, will be our sponsor for the month of April. Thank you, Brad, for being a supporter of the Children's Museum of Skagit County for twenty years!

Wing It Wednesday also starts next week - April 13, 2022! Local Flight Instructor Mike Dyberg of Dyberg Aviation will be coming to the Museum at 4pm on the second Wednesday of each month for an aviation-themed pop-up. From clouds and weather to parts of an airplane and navigation, there will be lots to learn for future aviators of all ages!!
