Top Loggers of the month

We have neglected a part of our community. The trapper that every couple of days, he or she is checking their traps.

They diligently record the visits and checks the bait is still OK. They didn't get any kills, so miss out of that glory. But their work is still vital to removing predators from Waitakere Township. I give you the top loggers of the month.

  1. Wak Trapper - 122 Logs
  2. greghoskins89 - 81 Logs
  3. waitakdan - 40 Logs

Monthly Trapper Tip

Regular checking of traps, may not being the most exciting part of trapping.

But a unset trap or one with moldy bait isn't going to catch anything.

If you have any tips, please reply to the message. It's great to help others in the group by sharing what is working for you.

End of the Line

It was great to get some rain this month. Our water tank was pretty much empty. Also great to hear that Auckland has peaked numbers in this pandemic. Hopefully we can start having regular meetings soon.

Have a great Trapping month and be safe out there.
