Hello! Many people used the "Add your own columns" feature in Elicit to ask more detailed questions about population and intervention for empirical studies.

So we took the most common ones, experimented with the best ways to ask those questions, and launched them as defaults.

We're pulling the answers from the abstract so you'll only get results if the information exists in the abstract. That tends to be the case with empirical research like randomized controlled trials in biomedicine, economics, or the social sciences.

We'll continue making it easier for you to ask questions about papers and get helpful answers.

Try the new questions in Elicit here!

Best,

Jungwon
