finest and rarest Trifari Philippe - 1940 Rococo Empress Eugenie extraordinary matched pair of patented pin clips, impossible find (a single example of the more common 1947 production of the design was recently on site)... full set, 3 pins and earrings, of the 1944 patented Trifari Jelly Belly Bugs or Flies, with Vogue advert showing them all worn together, and a new Indianapolis print ad, pricing the three sizes of pin... rarest of the Rue de la Paix 1940 patented enamelled flower series, giant red rose or primrose pin clip... never seen before, Trifari Philippe Triton's Trumpet Seashell, big (nearly 4 inches), 1938-39 (dated by the pin clip prongs)...
   
stunningly dramatic Reja Sterling Punchinello, pin clip and earrings together, as seen in the 1946 Harper's Bazaar advert... new advert precisely dating the rare Trifari Sterling faceted belly fish with bubbles, part of a 1943 series, joining other newly dated Trifari birds with adverts from that year... patented Trifari Philippe waterfall tassels earrings in sterling and diamante, the matching pin priced at $70 in Vogue in Dec 1946 (another new advert)... stunning workmanship in Coro's finest invisibly set mid 1930s deco duette, ruby and diamante openwork...
   
KTF Trifari Philippe fruit salad pieces from the mid 1930s, now firmly identified and dated - superb pendant screwback pastel fruit salad earrings in tonight's update, confirmed in attribution from characteristic clip earrings already on site (pictured and linked above), in turn corroborating (from the fruit salad stones) a fruit salad dress clip already on site (also linked above) - and the clip on that item is identical to the dated 1934 KTF Scheherazade dress clip duette (not a clipmate - not invented yet!), from a recent update (also linked above)...
   
more rarities - Trifari Philippe Fragonard moonstone fruit salad flower pot, re-working and continuing as so often in 1948, his pre-war (usually 1941 patented) designs, with the new post war high-tech precision casting - 1941-42 Philippe hovering humming bird pin, only here once before in 23 years - classic Norma Sterling Jelly Belly, Puss in Boots from 1944-5 - and historic World War Two US Patriotic 1942 'ABCD' Alliance Coro Sterling pin, reflecting the immediate aftermath of Pearl Harbour, as the US entered the war...
